The Parish Council are proposing to build a Parish Council Office/Community Hub in-front of the existing Skate Park at Hay End Lane Park.
This location was chosen for its central position within the Parish and its proximity to the Primary School, Fradley Youth & Community Centre, Fradley Village Hall and St. Stephen’s Church.
The Community Hub will be home to the Parish Council (replacing the current office on Wellington Crescent) providing a central contact point for residents.
The Parish Council will have separate offices and facilities for Staff as well as storage space for necessary records, plant and maintenance equipment.
The remainder of the building will offer flexible accommodation to meet the needs of the Community.
The Hub space can be split into an informal foyer area, which will be used to display relevant public information and documents and a meeting room for volunteers, community groups, local organisations and outreach groups.
There will be a moveable wall between these areas to allow the space to be combined when required for larger meetings and exhibitions.
The Hub will also contain an accessible toilet with baby change facilities and a hot & cold drinks machine.
