Lichfield City Centre Public Realm Strategy

As a reminder -  from Monday 21st June until Friday 2nd July 2021 we will be consulting with the public on some emerging ideas we want you to have your say on. Your feedback will allow us to develop recommendations within the strategy and support the action plan that will set out a long-term programme of delivery options.

On Wednesday 23rd June and Tuesday 29th June we are hosting some unique ‘Walk Shop sessions’. Neil Chapman, Executive Director for Landscape and Urban Design, from Austin-Smith:Lord, will be taking groups around the areas of the city the public realm strategy work will be focussing on. These sessions are available for a maximum of 15 people and will be booked on a first come first served basis. The sessions will last for 1½ hours and will include a short period for questions and answers. Officers will be on hand to ensure that the Walk Shops adhere to the current social distancing rules and that they are carried out as safely as possible.

The sessions will take place from:

o   10.30am – 12noon,

o   12.30pm – 2pm,

o   2.30pm – 4pm.

If you would like to book a space on one of the ‘Walk Shop’ sessions please contact

We would like as many people to take part in this process as possible, so please feel free to forward this email on to anybody you think may wish to take part in this consultation process.
